Under Section 52 of the 2016 revised IRR of RA 9184,shopping is defined as method of procurement Goods where the PE simply requests for the submission of price quotations for readily available off the self goods or ordinary/regular equipment to be procured directly from suppliers of known qualifications
For shopping under 52.1 at least 3price quotations must obtained.
