I am new in this world of procurement processes. I am wondering the process of PPMP preparation by the end -user. I realized that it is not easy to request what the needs because many of us don't know how to properly describe and give correct specifications of what we are requesting
It is not that difficult if you go back to basics. What is it that you need? (not that what you want)
Ex. you need a printer.
What paper size do you usually use?
How much volume of printing do you expect?
Does the speed of printing matter? (especially for bulk printing)
Is there a need for a shared printer, or just one attached to only one computer?
From these questions, you can generate the specifications after checking the brands and models online.
Do not copy paste specs from a particular model. That is tailor-fitting and it is prohibited.
I agree sir Salvador. However new end user must be properly guided in preparing PPMP.
