Question: In an alternative Mode of procurement, let say SVP, how do you usually open the submitted quotations? Do you formally open it publicly with the BAC Members and the bidders/suppliers? Hope someone will reply on this query, Thank you.

The quotations received are opened on the specified date and time but there is no more requirement of opening it in public. In case the SVP is delegated, the opening and evaluation of quotations shall be done by the appropriate committee, bureau or personnel so delegated. The BAC shall only be furnished a copy for review.
